Why must we market ourselves?
A website is an important component of any promotional venture, but it is not enough anymore. We must build our own reputation so that people will trust us. In this society, people are more and more reluctant to trust others, and often for very good reasons. So it is why it is very important to market ourselves in the internet, and especially on social media.
It is also important to share with people and to know what they are up to. By build a network of influential people we can learn from them. And what will make the difference is the quality and not the quantity of our circle of followers.
How can we market ourselves?
We are all good at something. Whether it is social media or Facebook marketing, there is room for all of us on the Internet. Writing frequent articles or blog posts related to your area of expertise is the best way to build a solid reputation online. If we can provide content that answers people’s most pressing questions, they will flock to our products and services.
If people see us as an expert, they will be eager to learn our “secrets.” Thousands of webinars are hosted online everyday; a lot of them are free. The biggest benefit of organizing appointment will allows us to connect directly with them and we become a real presence.

Reputation and trust are very important for us
to manage our companies. However, to capture
good reputation and trust are difficult because
we are required hard work,so many firms fail.
I also think it is good way to utilize social
media to build our own reputation so that
people will trust us.
It is easy to just say like that. The problem
is how to use social media specifically to
handle our firms..
We have to think of it carefully before we
build our social media.

ReplyDeleteLike both said using Social Media is essential today to build our reputation, in meantime we have to be aware of what we are showing because like I wrote in one of my article "social media can build a strong reputation as fast it can break it". But I agree that it's very important to market our self by using Internet intelligently.

ReplyDeleteI think there isn't not a lot to add to the two previous comments but i totally agree with you when you say that you don't need just to promote yourself but you must also build a strong good reputation. I think the reputation is the most important thing and will help us a lot ! And, as you said, social networks are the right tool for that !
